IG DM -> WhatsApp account funnel [NEW method]

I haven't noticed any topics on here regarding possibility of sending out a WhatsApp number/phone number in IG DM's and converting the traffic there (under the message there is a pop-up saying 'Message on WhatsApp' and 'Call on WhatsApp')

Quite interesting funnel - to prevent your main IG account from getting suspended - you can send out mass DMs saying "[product/service info]... feel free to reach out us at +1 (833) 111-1111 to get more info on the availability."

I'm able to send out 200k+ Mass DM's daily to practically any target audience there is and I'm looking for some suggestions with what exactly this method could work.

Any niche or product/service suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Moving people from IG to WhatsApp definitely works in some niches, especially local services, lead gen, high-ticket offers, and appointment-based businesses. The bigger issue isn't the WhatsApp funnel itself, it's the quality of the traffic. If you're blasting 200k DMs/day, expect low engagement and a higher risk of account restrictions over time. I'd focus on niches where a direct conversation is valuable (real estate, agencies, coaching, home services, etc.) rather than low-ticket products. Curious to hear if anyone here has real numbers on reply rates and conversions from this method.

I send 1-5 dm's per account for maximum delivery rates. I want the dm to stay in the message requests for days not hours.

Very interesting approach, I'm also curious to know if someone has utilized an approach like this before. Normally the offers like the ones you mentioned are good with profiled and real/legitimate accounts.

Though, I see an angle with grey-hat products (nutra and fx/crypto specifically). Great for scale and not black-hat enough to get the account suspended fast.

Yeah, I have several guys that I know use the Meta AD -> WhatsApp conversion. Though, many of them have started complaining that the whatsapp accounts dont live for long and get banned quite quickly..

What i did which helped me a lot and made me have permanent customers was i had a Instagram promotional account where i was advertising my products reaching out ppl etc and i connected my whatsapp to it ppl started texting me on my whatsapp through that and some who dmed on insta i asked them to text on whatsapp as I'm more active there? After selling each of my product i asked them to save my contact as "products i was selling" provider. Now i had customers on my whatsapp it got to a point where i had hundreds of them and i used to post my products on status and they'd buy it from there
