Is there any way to check if a channel or video is monetized?

no. They removed the flag that showed it years ago. You can ask the creator directly?...
 
directly its not allowed but website allow you to check that how much channels are generating revenue
 
i think it showed a mark in front of your channels name if the channel is monetized
 
Not really, YouTube doesn’t show that info publicly. You can guess from ad types, upload frequency, or if they mention sponsors, but no 100% way to know for sure.
 
Open the video, view the page source (Ctrl + U), and search for is_monetized.Also, check if they have the Super Thanks heart button under the video - if it's there, the channel is monetized. If you want a lazier way, just search for free YouTube monetization checkers on Google, there are tons of them.

Those monetization checkers are not legit. Atleast ytlarge it was tested with a friend of mine whose monetized and it was saying he wasnt

A monetized YouTube channel will usually display ads in its videos. There is no tool that can accurately verify whether a YouTube channel has monetization enabled.

I used "https://youtubetoolkit.com/" on a video and it shows its monetized but then I used the "CTRL+U" method on the video and on the channel but it didnt shoes "is_monetized" anywhere
 
One easy clue is looking for ads during the video, but that alone isn’t always accurate since some ads can appear even without full monetization.

Currently there's no way to tell if a channel is monetized unless they have activated "Super Thanks" (lets people donate money directly) or channel memberships. If the channel doesn't offer either of those then there's no way to know. The comments above talking about "if a video shows ads it's monetized" are full of shit lmao
 
To the best of my knowledge, there is no legit way to find out whether it's monetized or not.
 
As far as I know there's no fully reliable public way to see exact monetization status of a channel or video You can sometimes get hints based on ads showing or sponsorship activity but that doesn't always tell the full story In many cases monetization depends on eligibility and settings that aren't visible from the outside
 
You can kinda guess, but there is no magic "Is Monetized?" button on YouTube . Ads don't always mean anything now, but if you see a Join button, Memberships, or Super Chats, chances are the channel is making some money and buying a few coffees ☕.
