Im not sure if this is the right section to post this as i cant see and dedicated B2B discussion section on BHW. If this is on the wrong section Mods please feel free to move it , im not trying to break any rules.
So ive been trying to figure this out and honestly getting a bit stuck. I built a small tool based on a problem I kept running into while hiring. I was getting flooded with applications, but most of them were low effort or clearly AI-generated. At one point I had 300+ applicants and spent more time filtering than actually hiring.
What I did was I built something simple for myself to handle that, and it worked pretty well and decided to turn it into something others can use as well like a full on B2B SaaS. To be clear its not some vibecoded BS that we are seeing all over the place, this took me more than 18 months to build with a developer.
Now the problem is getting it in front of the right people. I made the classic mistake of build first, market later which i have learned the hard way that you should get a market first, then build. Not the other way. I’ve tried content marketing, cold emails, sending personalized looms , reaching out to people actively hiring, offering to set up the entire process { more like DFY instead of a self serve SaaS but nothing has worked.
What I’m starting to realize is it might just be a trust issue. People would rather pay for something outdated with reviews than try something new, even if it actually solves the problem better.
So now I’m a bit stuck between:
just pushing harder on my own, or maybe going the partnership/JV route with someone who already has distribution or has network example on linked in, similar to how GringoMonkey was doing here https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/jv-your-b2b-product-service-my-linkedin-outreach.1401916/page-4
So just curious , if you were on my shoes what approach would you take ? im not the best on camera so doing YT to promote this wont really work for me.
Has anyone dealt with this before?
