Hello BHW!
Recently I did marketing on reddit for a client. my goal was to get the brand listed in Reddit search answers and run guerrilla marketing through relevant subs. Results over 2 months:
I have my own strategy that consist of 4 steps – broad requests, competitors, your brand keywords and your own content. Now I see that REddit become more and more valuable for SEO and LLM and a lot of business mowing into native reddit marekting. Why is Reddit a long-term play? Because comments, posts, upvotes that gets engagement keeps showing in reddit search for months or even years. You still need to continue creating content, but what you've already posted stays on reddit forever. It can be found by a user or can be shown to them at any moment. The only thing you need is to be as native as possible. And that's the hardest part
Reddit marketing works for any business — online or offline. People search Reddit for bars, restaurants, hotels, dog food brands, crypto exchanges — literally everything. Your business can be right there at the right moment.
