I usually start with Ahrefs and then manually review the SERPs. The best keywords aren't always the ones with the highest volume, but the ones you actually have a chance to rank for.

If you have a paid SEO tool, look for the keyword that your competitors in your niche rank for, and try to outrank them by writing a better content and better optimizing for that keyword.
Note that the competitor should not be a blog that have a very high authority in that niche. Look for ones that have a low DR and are having decent traffic and rank for some keywords

Now it’s less about exact keywords and more about finding topics from Reddit, YouTube autosuggest and Google “People also ask” then building content around search intent.

A good approach is to combine data from multiple tools(keyword research tools), study what’s already ranking, and look for topics competitors are missing. The people getting the best results are usually the ones finding low-competition opportunities before everyone else notices them

I usually start by looking at what my competitors are already ranking for. If multiple websites are getting traffic from a keyword, that's a good sign there's demand. Then I look for long-tail keywords with lower competition and create content around those first.
I also pay attention to what people are asking in forums, Reddit, and Google's 'People Also Ask' section. Those are often great sources of content ideas.
