Hi,
I have started working on off-page SEO. So I want to know that are backlinks are still important factor for ranking and how they impact ranking.

Yes backlinks are still important but they are not the only ranking factor anymore Good content search intent internal linking and user experience matter a lot too backlinks help Google trust your site but even strong links won't help much if the content is weak

Backlinks are important for seo. They help search engine see your website as more trustworthy and authoritative.

The quality of Backlinks is the most important. Their number comes second. They give signals to Google that your website is trustworthy and good.

yes, backlinks are very important, however backlinks should b high quality, backlink help rank website in search engines.

still one of the strongest ranking signals, but they're not the only one anymore. it helps SE decide which sites are credible enough to rank higher, especially in competitive niches

Bcklinks are still valuable because they signal trust and relevance. but search engine have become much better at evaluating link quality, so natural and relevant links are what realy count today.

Backlinks still matter, but I’d stop thinking of them as the only big lever. The links that actually move things usually come from relevant pages, decent sites, and pages that already get crawled/seen. It's not just raw volume.
