Anyone trying to claim an umoderated subreddit lately via r/redditrequest?

last month i was able to claim 12 subreddits, using 50 farming accounts. the success rate is low like around 20%. But recently 1-2 weeks ago the requests gets autorejected 5 min after submitting the request. Do you face the same issue?

based on the context of claiming subreddits with farming accounts and a
declining success rate, it is highly likely that Reddit has updated
its anti-spam, bot detection, or account age/karma requirements for the
r/redditrequest process.
 
Recently the spamming on the Reddit has been increased and people start using these subreddits wrongly for their personal benefits and do the spamming. To Prevent this they have make their policies or selection process for claiming an umoderated subreddit more stricter. So that can be the reason that they start auto rejecting the requests to claim an unmoderated subreddit or banned subreddit due to unmoderation.
 
It seems like Reddit has indeed tightened its measures to prevent spamming and misuse of unmoderated subreddits. I've also noticed a significant decline in the success rate of claiming subreddits using farming accounts. I dont think is easy to do it but keep us updated on the progress
 
Maybe Reddit changed something on their side, so now it’s not as easy to get subreddits approved like before.
 
It has been really difficult to claim these no mod subreddits since last November, truly impressive that you got 12 last month. :eek:
 
its really a luck of the draw. i've tried going for some subs with a banned moderator and it doesn't always work
 
I use genuine user accounts, no farming, to claim subs and so far success rate is over 90%.
 
What i've found recently,

Reddit's mods are watching for subs repeatedly being requested and they 'mark' accounts that continue to request

Those accounts seem to be flagged and sometimes muted by that subreddit

Unless the sub is of true value for me or requested services, I'm not touching it with my 'premium' reddit accounts

I believe data from this will become a ban filter soon enough
