Not necessary, Google will index them on its own most of the time, manual indexing is just a faster push if you are in hurry (just like me, I am always in hurry 
)

It can take anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks for Google to index a link. Usually, pages on active and trusted websites get indexed much faster. So if you need to get indexation faster - you'd better use manual indexaton

As long as there are internal links to the pages you want indexing you should be fine. If there are no links pointing to the page at all (an 'orphan' page), then your options are getting those internal links added (most modern CMSs should have this covered by default), using an indexer service, or tiering.

backlinks are on good quality sites search engines usually index them naturally over time manual indexing is optional and not always necessary

you can usually just wait, especially if the page is linked internally and your site gets crawled regularly. manual indexing can speed things up sometimes, but it's not always necessary.
honestly i'd like to make sure the page is linked from relevant pages and included in your sitemap, then give it some time before worrying about manual indexing.

If you have to ask, then your site, it just might be a load of ed balls. After a while, if your site has been established, and is getting crawled and visitors, then your site index will get checked maybe up to a few times a day, or even hourly at best, or even instant. You can't afford to submit your backlinks manually, as thats going against the grain. You should only be improving your site, and adding content, or marketing it. Just let google do its thing. You would need some really insider knoweldge and high end research to really, outsmart or outrank the compeition, in the eyes of google, if you are anything less than an authority on yoru topic.

If you don't want to wait, you can submit it for indexing yourself. Use the URL inspection tool in Google Search Console. Paste the link into the search bar and click the "Request Indexing" button.

You need to be patience on that, Nowadays it's slightly difficult to achieve fast indexing,
Incase if you try to do that, After sometime the googlebot recheck the index, So Patience is the only way, Also you need to frame a strong internal link structure to support your index bit fast.

It’s honestly a waste of time to just sit and wait for search engines to discover it organically, as relying purely on passive crawling can leave your new pages invisible for weeks or even months. While Google will eventually find it via your sitemap, forcing a manual index request via Search Console takes less than a minute and guarantees the bots crawl your updated content within hours

In my opinion you should wait 3 to 4 weeks before they get indexed naturally.

If the backlinks are on high quality, active sites, search engines will find and index them naturally. Manual indexing is only really necessary if the link is buried deep on a slow crawled site and you want to speed things up.
