Facebook restricted my ad account after updating payment method

Hi everyone,

I updated my card details because my old payment method expired, and a day later my ad account got restricted for “suspicious activity.”
I submitted verification but support hasn’t been helpful so far. Anyone been through this before?
How long did it take to fix?

My old card expire, which is why a new payment method was added to the account. all verification info has been submitted to prove I am the authorized cardholder.
 
Yep had this happen before after changing payment details, took around a week after verification before the restriction was removed.
 
In my opinion, Make sure card name, billing info and account details all match correctly, mismatches can sometimes delay review.
 
same happened with me last month, it took like 4 to 5 days for support to unban it, just wait they will fix it.
 
hey, is this your fb account? how old is it, and is the card registered under your name or is it a virtual one?

Yeah, this happens sometimes, Facebook can flag accounts when payment info changes. Usually you just have to wait for support to review, sometimes it takes a few days to a couple weeks.
 
Payment changes can sometimes trigger automated security checks. If you already submitted the requested documents, there's usually not much to do except wait for the review. Mine was resolved in a few days.

Had this happen once after updating billing details. Mine got reviewed and was back in a few days. Did they ask you for any extra documents.
 
classic fb algorithm, usually takes 3-7 days to clear but dont make new accounts in the meantime or they will ban your profile too.
 
Avoid making too many changes while it is under review, like adding more cards or editing billing details again, because that can sometimes slow the process further.
 
yes this can happen after payment change, usually it gets reviewed in a few days to a couple of weeks, but sometimes you need to go through verification and support follow ups to get it lifted.
