Ever notice how a random “good morning” post can outperform an actually useful thread or expert take? Feels like some genuinely valuable content gets buried while simple engagement bait flies. Are people still growing from quality content, or is X mostly momentum + networking now?

The algorithm has made it so that you can’t get back to back insane reach, they’ll allow just 1-2 to be pushed out per day (at least in my experience)

algo has drastically changed, given the number of trash posts getting posted every second, def some are bound to take off more than useful posts

Totally, sometimes simple posts get way more attention than detailed stuff, feels like it’s more about timing and who you know than actual quality now.

That actually wouldn’t surprise me Feels like some posts get capped while others randomly take off. Do you think timing/content type makes a difference or mostly just algorithm luck?

Can definitely see that. The amount of content on X now is crazy, so some random posts are always going to blow up. Feels much less predictable than before.

it's all about volume, you can't post just two or three times a day and hope to get ahead. In my experience, at least 5 posts, and being active in the replies is what gets you ahead of the rest

not really unpopular anymore
easy content gets quick engagement but quality content builds followers that actually matter

momentum helps on X but without useful content it usually fades fast too
