I’ve been studying how online reputation affects customer decision-making, especially on Google Business Profiles and other review platforms.
One thing I’ve noticed is that it’s not always the star rating that impacts trust the most, but rather how a business responds to negative reviews and how consistent their feedback looks over time.
In some cases, businesses with similar ratings perform very differently just because of:
