I have been running paid ads for about 2 years. Tried Google, Facebook and TikTok for my store.
Google is working but getting expensive. Facebook feels unpredictable lately. TikTok brings cheap clicks but people dont really buy.
Where are you putting your money right now? Is anyone testing Pinterest or Snapchat and actually getting results?

Pinterest is great because the ads stay alive. On Facebook and TikTok, your ad dies in a day. On Pinterest, people save your posts to their boards and buy weeks later when they are ready.

I’ve been testing Pinterest and Snapchat lately, Pinterest clicks are cheap and some convert if the landing is solid. Snapchat is hit or miss, but I scale small winners. Still, Google mostly takes most of my budget.

I’ve been testing Pinterest and Reddit, Pinterest is surprisingly good for cheap clicks that actually convert if your targeting is tight. Snapchat is hit or miss, depends on the niche. Still keep some on Google but scaling there is painful.

Still spending most of the budget on Google ADS and Facebook Ads

Google is expensive, but the intent is hard to beat
Meta is inconsistent sometimes, but when you find a winning creative it can still scale fast

I tested Pinterest for a few ecommerce niches and it was decent, especially for home decor, fashion and DIY stuff
Never got enough volume from it to replace Google ADS or Facebook Ads though

TikTok gives me the same problem as you. Cheap traffic, great CTR, but not always great buyers

If you're looking for a long-term strategy, Facebook Ads is the way to go. It requires a lot of time and a lengthy optimization process, but it ultimately delivers good results.

Most advertisers are diversifying. Google Search still drives the best intent and sales, Meta is mostly used for retargeting and TikTok works better for cheap testing and awareness than direct conversions. Pinterest performs well in visual niches like fashion and home decor but is smaller in scale, while Snapchat can bring cheap clicks but often weaker conversion quality. The common strategy now is using TikTok/Pinterest for discovery and Google plus retargeting for actual sales.

Google Ads search network ads are truly a boon for conversion.
I use that platform and I spend my entire budget there for my store. Facebook is good too, but as you said, it varies.

I still allocate the most budget to Google because of its stronger buying intent. Pinterest is pretty good for niche decor, beauty or lifestyle sites, Snapchat has good reach but conversions are still quite erratic.

Mostly splitting between Google and meta right now. Tiktok can work too but quality feels inconsistent sometimes depending one the niche.

Most are shifting budgets to TikTok ads, Meta (optimized campaigns), native ads, and SEO/influencer marketing for better ROI in 2026.

Mostly still Google for intent + retargeting (highest ROI if tracking is clean). Meta is hit/miss unless creatives are strong, TikTok I use more for top-of-funnel not direct sales, and Pinterest is quietly decent for evergreen niches but still small volume, Snapchat hasn’t really scaled for me.

Honestly after 2 years of testing I stopped chasing platforms and started following my customer, Google for high intent buyers, Pinterest is underrated especially for home, fashion and lifestyle niches with surprisingly low CPCs right now, Facebook I kept only for warm retargeting audiences, TikTok is great for brand awareness but conversion rate is weak so I treat it as top of funnel only, haven't cracked Snapchat yet but Pinterest is the hidden gem most people sleep on in 2026.

for me, pinterest honestly it has lower traffic volume but much higher buying intent for certain products.

Pinterest is surprisingly decent for long-term buyer traffic if your creatives fit the platform, Snapchat burns fast in my experience

Pinterest Ads are incredibly powerful, but only if you sell visual lifestyle products, like home decor, fashion, or weddings. Users there have high buying intent, but the platform operates like a search engine, so campaigns take 4–6 weeks to fully optimize.

For ecommerceMeta and TikTok still make sense but creatives need to be refreshed often For B2B or highticket services, LinkedIn can work better even if CPCs are higher For niche communitis Reddit and Telegram can be interesting but they need more testin

Most of my budget is going toward search and targeting because intent is usually stronger there.
