What was your biggest problem when you started your first blog?

I started my first blog and had many problems in the beginning. Some things were confusing and took time to learn. I wanted to ask, what was the biggest problem you faced when you started your first blog?

The only problem I faced was that I was not consistent. I started some blogs in 2010-11, which I could not pursue for long time. Had I been consistent , I would have made passive sources of income .
 
I started blogging in 2008, English was my 3rd language and It was very hard to write nice article. I use to take multiple days to write just 1 blog. I had no understanding of SEO and keywords. Just wrote whatever came in my mind. I made decent money in blogging.


Content creation was the problem at that time.
 
the same as now (and which is part of the reason for which I've stopped owning sites): CONTENT CREATION.

As someone whose native language is not English but has to make content in English, I get mentally exhausted after just 1 hour of researching and writing content in English, and since google wants me to produce content each day in order to keep me ranked... no, thanks! I'd rather waste my mental energy on playing video games while barely surviving on pittance and unemployment money.
 
Writing content that nobody searches for is a common mistake. many people realize keyword research matters later.
 
I struggle with formatting and designing.
I wanted my blogs to look premium. It took me a while to do that.
 
Many beginners make the mistake of writing about what they want to read, rather than what people are searching for. Learning to target low-competition keywords that people actually type into Google is a major turning point.
 
For me, the hardest part was getting traffic. Writing articles was easy, but figuring out keyword research and getting people to actually find my blog took much longer than I expected.
 
For me the biggest challenge was staying consistent. It's easy to get excited at the start, but keeping up with content when traffic is low can be tough.
 
Getting traffic was the hardest part for me because even good content doesn't rank instantly without authority and backlinks.
 
I underestimated the importance of patience; most blog growth happens much slower than beginners expect.
 
for me, choosing the right topics was hard. I write content first and learned keyword research later.
 
Honestly? Traffic. Spent months writing stuff nobody saw. Figuring out SEO and actually getting people to read was the real headache.
 
The biggest problem I faced when starting my first blog was getting traffic. I spent a lot of time writing articles, but very few people visited the site. I also found SEO and keyword research confusing at first. Over time, I learned that blogging requires patience, consistency, and continuous learning. Once I understood search intent and content optimization better, things started improving gradually.
 
My biggest problem was expecting traffic too quickly I spent a lot of time writing content but very little time learning keyword research and promotion Once I focused on topics people were actually searching for the results started improving steadily
 
for me, the hardest part was staying consistent since I wasn’t getting visits. Also, learning about keywords took me a while :weep:
 
the most problem is traffics not coming in first posts but they start coming with new implement if focus on implementation,got increase traffics with keyword quote after all post to trend on many researchers list.
 
when i started main problem was that i was not getting traffic any traffic. then i improved my keyword research and focused more on seo. within a short time, traffic started to comming my blog.
 
Biggest issue was just figuring everything out at the start things like content, SEO and getting traffic were confusing at first.

Biggest issue was getting traffic at all in the beginning.

I kept writing posts but nothing was ranking, so it felt like waste of time. Later I realized it’s mostly keyword + patience, not just content.
