Hey, any recommendations for a good offshore domain registrar that doesn't suspend domains out of the blue.

  • Njalla ir a no go.
  • Nicenic - disappointed after they suspended my domain with no legal basis from a simple complaint.

I need someone that supports .com domain transfers.
And suspended only with a valid court order of their jurisdiction.

Basically, a registrat that doesn't give a f.
Price is not an issue, can be $100-500+ year.

I'm also interested in this question.
My domain was blocked by Njalla six weeks after registration due to an anonymous complaint.

I'll do you one better. There's a registrar that has almost exclusively 'grey niche' websites as its clientele, has a unique anonymous registration process that takes what Njalla does a step further, and also accepts crypto - Trustname

Too many registrars go the 'cheaper' route of suspending first and asking questions later... silly. NameISP and r01 ru are decent too.

I see a lot of shilling for Trustname.
But it's registered in Estonia, EU. And has a lot of TOS restrictions. So if you're running anything grey or barely legal, whether it's online pharma, pr0n, copyright content - according to their own rules - they leave themselves a right to suspend the domain.
So I'm 90% out for that reason.

- those don't seem good at all. Lots of stricts TOS and dedicated abuse forms. One is largest Czech registrar - i'm sure they'll comply with every and any complaint.

I also don't understand how Russian registrars that operate officially and require full verification could end up on these lists. :suspicious:

I guess some .ru registrars are ok if you're dealing with FDA, DMCA and other USA regulator complaints.
Basically Russia can ignore most of it.

EITHER WAY

I'm still looking for a good option, so please someone share.

As ICANN's still the big boss and can lean on anyone, regardless of where the registrar's based. For max resistance though, you'd wanna peep providers known for strict privacy in places like Panama or some Baltic states, but remember even they ain't totally immune from major heat on .coms

What would you recommend apart from .com that's a lot more safe and bulletproof?
.cc ? .to? something else?

As a person from the CIS, this definitely doesn't suit me =)

their support is basically useless, seen it. honestly, if you're willing to pay, try porkbun. never had issues with them, and they aren't going to randomly suspend you unless you're doing something truly egregious. plus, their interface is clean, which is a plus.

@IGGY8, just make sure you don't use any brand names within domains, and pick the domain registrar within China or Thailand

Good luck :)

Nah, if they ban your one domain your whole account goes with it.

lol it wasnt an anonymous complaint

it was njalla himself, hes just stealing your money

u might wanna give LuxHost a shot

from my experience, theyre way more solid when it comes to offshore hosting. theyve got beefy servers, decent domain support, and don’t really seem like the type to fold over some random baseless complaint

If ur looking into .com transfers and similar stuff, they’re def worth checking out

go with Trustname[.]com

anonfilesnew[.]com uses that...and guess what?? Their domain still alive!!

And they uses .com !!!

Also Trustname recently offers alot of ccTLD like .to .gl .bz .io .sc .vc .ac .ag .my etc...

Crypto payment as always.
