Hi everyone,

I have been spending more time on Reddit recently and I am curious about what is actually working right now. There are so many different opinions about account age, karma, posting style, and engagement strategies that it is hard to know what really makes a difference. I am curious to learn about what is working better for you?

Smaller niche subreddits have been working much better for me than huge communities. Easier to build trust and get real engagement.
 
I think consistency matters more than account age now. People who post regularly and actually join conversations seem to grow faster than accounts that only drop links or promotions.
 
Honestly, building account trust matters more than the post itself. Older, active accounts get way more visibility than new ones.
 
Natural posts.
Organic activity & content.
 
For me, Karma and posts in subreddits which I have personal interest in is working fine.
 
In my experience the first hour matters a lot, but not only for upvotes, if nobody replies early, the post feels dead and people scroll past even if the content is solid.
 
Account age and karma still matter, but not as much as they used to. What is working best right now is looking like a real user, posting naturally, engaging in discussions, and not rushing to drop links or promote something too early.

The biggest factor is still authenticity. Accounts that participate naturally, contribute useful comments, and engage in niche communities tend to perform much better than accounts focused only on promotion. High karma and aged accounts can help, but relevant content and genuine interaction seem to matter far more. Reddit users are quick to spot forced marketing, so building trust within the community is what appears to be working best right now.
 
posting real value + niche stuff works best, not just self promo. older accounts help a bit but engagement matters more. also comment a lot in threads before dropping links, people trust active users more.
 
Reddit can drive strong traffic, but it’s volatile. Things that nowadays work are native posts and comments
 
As a beginner I think what is working on Reddit is to focus on helping people, joining conversations and becoming a genuine member of the community.
