Hi everyone,

Lately, I’ve been seeing many sellers on Fiverr and other marketplaces offering services like “Increase AI Visibility,” “Get Mentioned in ChatGPT,” “Rank in AI Search,” and similar claims.

I understand traditional SEO and backlink strategies, but I’m curious about the newer AI visibility methods specifically related to platforms like ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Bing Copilot, etc.

So I wanted to ask:

  • Is there any real technique behind this?
  • Are citations, entity SEO, Web 2.0s, Reddit mentions, and branded signals actually helping?
  • Can AI systems recognize brands/entities based on mentions across the web?
  • Are these Fiverr sellers using some hidden strategy, or is it mostly just branding + authority building?
  • Has anyone here successfully improved AI visibility for a site or brand?
I’d really appreciate insights from people who have tested this practically.

Thanks!

Most "AI visibility" services are just rebranded SEO. There’s no magic button to rank in ChatGPT.

What seems to help is strong brand mentions, clear entity signals, real citations, Reddit/forum visibility, and content that gets referenced by trusted sources.

I believe AI systems mainly trust brands that already have strong online presence and consistent mentions across the web.

Most of those fiverr guys are just selling basic brand mentions on reddit and quora for way too much money, the bots scrape those sites to see who people recommend, so just get your name in popular threads and big niche listicles, if you stay active in real discussions, the ai will eventually start picking you up as a legit source.

I think there is some real logic behind it, but many sellers probably exaggerate the results. AI systems seem to pick up branded mentions, topical authority, Reddit discussions, citations, and entity signals across the web. It feels more like advanced branding and trust building rather than a secret ranking trick.

Some people call it AI SEO now, but honestly it still looks pretty similar to good SEO plus strong brand presence.

From what I’ve npoticed, there is no secret or method for AI ranking yet that i know of. Most of it seems to come down to strong branding, consistent mentions, topical authority, and being referenced naturally across platforms like Reddit, blogs, forums, and news sites.

For ai chatbot rankings you have to work on schema of your website, there are several techniques to rank into chatbot try with schema first.

From what I’ve seen a lot of AI visibility is basically strong branding, entity recognition and consistent mentions across trusted sources

I think AI systems are getting better at recognizing entities and relationships not just backlinks and keywords

I’ve seen a lot of those Fiverr gigs too and most of them feel like someone selling bottled air. What’s moved the needle for me is getting my name mentioned in places where real users already talk, like niche subreddits or small communities tied to my topic. Even a few solid mentions from people who actually care about the subject made AI systems pick up my brand way faster than any packaged trick.
