Zero views on reels

Most likely the reel is being “sandboxed” because it’s a brand‑new account plus a reposted video, so the system treats it as low‑trust and barely shows it to anyone. Make sure the account is public, Reels visibility is on, the video doesn’t violate guidelines or use copyrighted music, then warm up the account for at least a week with normal activity (follow, watch, comment) before posting important content again.

Reposting reels is a recipe for failure because it counts as already posted content. Not having reach as a new account is normal. Try posting more high quality content and if that doesn't work after 1 month of consistent posting then you can consider that your account has been shadow banned.
 
Focus on original clips, slower posting, and consistent engagement to build trust and improve reel distribution over time. Reposted content can reduce reach due to duplicate detection.
 
Go and check if any of the content is flagged. Go to the account settings and check under "account status". It will show you if there is any violation. In that case; just remove it and the profile should be good to go.
 
From my experience, jumping straight into Reels on a fresh account doesn’t work anymore. I usually post a few pics first, let them sit, do some scrolling and light engagement… just to warm things up a bit. If you go straight into reposted Reels with no history, IG doesn’t push it at all.
With this method, I usually start getting a few hundred views at first, and once it picks up, hitting thousands views becomes pretty easy.
 
Re-uploading the same reel insta's gonna bury that. their algorithm is smart enough to sniff that out. you're basically saying "i got nothin' new" and they're gonna treat you accordingly, which is zero views. next time, try to create something fresh, even if it's just a slight variation. or, even better, focus on driving traffic from other sources to your reel. build that audience first, then the views will follow.
 
Warmup for 1 day is too short in my experience. Try warming accounts for 2-3 days with original posts, it should work.
 
I think you are reposting old content, or your account is going through the normal verification process. Give it time before you give up. One reel is too soon to give up
 
I’ve had something similar with TikTok before. Are you posting videos from a warmed-up account? And are you uploading from a computer or a phone?
