How to become smarter if your stupid?

I think the secret is always going to be to surround yourself with people who are genuinely smarter than you.

Yes books help. Yes being in the know about current affairs helps.

But being in the company of smart people introduces you to perspectives, that you didn't have.

When you see someone smarter than you approach a problem and work their way towards a solution, you can see the gears in their brain turning. You see how they arrived at whatever conclusion they arrived that.

Your brain then begins identifying patterns and commonality in this.

You also learn how to approach challenges, and a myriad new things.

This gives rise to healthy discussion and you walk out smarter after every talk. Like me and @Panther28 today for instance. I whined about my visit to a physiotherapist for a sore back today, he came in with advise based on his authentic self experience, then made very helpful recommendations and now I am a bit more smarter about my issue than I was before.

The second is going to be humility.

The acceptance that someone knows more than you about some things. This gives you an ability to take their input and actually put it into fruition. This also fosters a sort of mutual respect that helps you network and build relationships.

IMO, the most stupid people are the ones that walk into rooms thinking they're the smartest one there. And miss out on a whole lot of things.

definitely NOT by watching eumieverse's clips :)

keep being stupid
the more you read, the more depressed you become
there's actually some truth to this. I've read a quote of someone (don't remember who it was, though) saying something like "there's no bigger sadness in anyone than in intelligent people".

I don't think that this quote depicts normality, but I do find it to be true in the crooked world that we're living in, so your quote is true too IMO :)
