My Instagram account has been shut down; there's a major global crisis.

Yeah I’ve seen a lot of people getting hit with this account integrity issue even without any clear violations

If the ID appeal didn’t help unfortunately there isn’t a real workaround The only solid option is to keep going through Instagram’s official support and appeal system and wait for a proper review they’re the only ones who can actually restore it

I've noticed that the "account integrity" error is usually caused by unfamiliar logins, the use of automated tools or accounts being flagged as untrustworthy, not necessarily by the content itself. Besides submitting an appeal, many people have to maintain a stable IP/device and wait for Instagram to manually re-verify the account.

My Instagram account was closed due to "account integrity" despite me receiving no violations.

I've researched this and found that many people have experienced this, but I know that appealing with ID isn't very effective. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
Why appealing with your ID is ineffective? In my opinion you should had already appealed and had contacted IG's support before you even post here.

Totally get your frustration, Meta's AI moderation is completely broken lately. Since they mentioned your ID wasn't legible, that's actually a good sign because it means it didn’t get instant-ghosted. When you re-upload the clearer photo, make sure you take it with your phone's normal camera (not inside the IG app) and leave the table edges visible so the system knows it's a real physical ID. Stick strictly to that open Meta Verified ticket thread—opening new ones will just reset your waiting time. Good luck!

Hello, thank you for the information. When will my waiting period be reset? Actually, they didn't accept the photo even though I uploaded it twice.

this is happening to many people now sometimes Instagram flags accounts by mistake and support is very slow best option is keep trying appeal from same device and network don't spam appeal and wait few days between attempts,, also avoid making new accounts too fast because Meta can connect them again

Ah, hitting that 2-upload limit means the bot has soft-locked you on the app.
By 'resetting,' I meant opening a brand new ticket just updates your timestamp and pushes you to the back of the queue.
Stop messing with the IG app now before it turns into a hard lock. Since you have Meta Verified, reply to your existing chat/email thread with the clear ID and tell the rep: 'The in-app scanner is glitching, please escalate this manually to the internal team.' That's your best shot to bypass the AI.

check if anything linked to old accounts or suspicious logins triggered it, instagram can flag random things sometimes.

maybe try contacting instagram support from help center also, only ID appeal does not always work. i’d also keep backup account ready because recovery can take time sometimes.
