Is Parasite SEO on LinkedIn/Medium still worth the effort in 2026?

I’ve seen some high-ticket keywords being ranked by LinkedIn pulse and Medium articles again. Does anyone have a current footprint for these? I’m planning a blast of 50+ articles but don't want to waste time if the "instant de-indexing" is still a thing.

They can still rank, but only if the content is high quality and aligned with search intent just publishing a large volume of posts won’t guarantee results.

You still seeing the ranks on Medium and Linkedin? Looks like the recently 'finished' core update has pushed down the surge from what I've been tracking.

You have to play safe & make sure to post informational content so that it can be indexed by google. I have seen informational content can get indexed easily & can rank for high kd keywords as well. I had a bad experience with Medium, as most of the articles gets deindexed within a week. So this is a hit & miss in this case. Good luck!

linkedin pulse still indexes here and there, but it’s way less stable now for mass parasite stuff. medium seems a bit stronger lately if the account has some age and engagement behind it. the “instant deindex” thing is definitely still real though, especially if you blast 50 thin articles with the same structure, anchors, or AI footprint. i’d slow it down, vary formats, mix branded anchors, and push some diverse backlinks to the stronger pages instead of brute forcing volume. parasite seo still works, just way more about subtlety now.

Linkedin and medium still rank now and then but as a parasite they are long gone.
Linkedin - its (almost) impossible to create/buy multiple accounts and post pulse articles
Medium - its (almost) impossible to create/buy multiple accounts and create article without noindex.
If you are able to create articles without noindex, dropping link will most likely get your account banned.
Both linkedin and medium dont rank in top 10 most of the time for affiliate keywords, so whats the point of doing all this and not getting ranked.

They can still work in 2026. but it's definitely not easy or stable as before. I am still seeing some linkedln and medium pages ranking for medium competition keywords, especially with aged profiles and well written content.
