Has instagram got tricked into giving checkmark to AI accounts?

I think it's the meta verified which you can buy and they only verify the organization e.g. Business Portfolio + Logo. Maybe don't care about content because they get a sale

It’s just Meta Verified rather than some deep manual review. These days a checkmark doesn’t always mean the account is fully human or heavily vetted. Sometimes it just means the account met the basic requirements and paid for verification.
