Hello everyone,


I am a technology enthusiast and a big fan of AI. Lately, I can’t stop thinking about something that is creating a global sensation: Elon Musk’s Neuralink brain chip. I wrote this article to share what I’ve learned and my personal thoughts. I hope everyone will join the discussion.


What is Neuralink?


Neuralink is a company co-founded by Elon Musk in 2016, specializing in developing Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) technology. Simply put, it is a chip implanted directly into the brain, allowing humans to connect their thoughts with computers without using hands or voice.


The current chip is called the N1 Implant. It is the size of a small coin and contains thousands of ultra-thin electrode threads that are surgically inserted deep into the brain by a specialized surgical robot. The entire process is designed to be as minimally invasive as possible, and the device operates completely wirelessly.


Current Progress (May 2026)


According to the latest information, Neuralink has implanted chips in more than 21 patients. These individuals are mainly people with quadriplegia or ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis). The results achieved are truly impressive:


  • They can control computers, play games (chess, Civilization, Mario Kart, etc.), browse the web, and write using only their thoughts.
  • Recently, they have tested controlling robotic arms with the brain.
  • They are experimenting with restoring speech for people who have lost the ability to speak.
  • Upcoming tests include Blindsight – a technology that could allow blind people to “see.”

Elon Musk has even called this “Jesus-level technology” because of its ability to restore functions that were previously thought impossible.


In 2026, Neuralink plans to move into high-volume production and fully automate the surgical process. This means the technology will gradually become accessible to more people.


Benefits and Concerns


Positive aspects:
This is truly a great hope for millions of people with disabilities. Being able to do things just by thinking is an enormous advancement in medicine. In the distant future, this technology could enable telepathic communication, faster learning, or even enhancement of brain capabilities.


Negative aspects: I also have quite a few concerns.


  • Long-term safety: The brain is the most sensitive organ. Could the chip cause infection, inflammation, or malfunction after a few years?
  • Privacy: Who will control the data of your thoughts?
  • Inequality: At first, will only the rich or people in developed countries have access?
  • The biggest question: When humans connect directly with AI, will we still be “human”?
  • Could we be controlled by the developers, or have our brains hacked and taken over by hackers?
  • Or will it open up an opportunity for humans to learn faster, remember longer, become sharper, and work with productivity a billion times greater than normal?

This kind of tech is exciting, but I will say people should stay balanced and not get carried away by the hype too fast. If Neuralink can genuinely improve life for people with disabilities, that alone is already a huge achievement, but for people who are not dissabled should not try it, that just my own opinion to be honest

Just imagine: when you are drowning in the middle of the ocean with no one around, and suddenly a lifebuoy falls from somewhere — would you grab it?


It’s the same for people with disabilities. Whether they choose it or not, they won’t suddenly become healthy again, right? But if they try it, who knows — it might actually succeed. Right now, they are already able to control devices with their brains. That alone is a miracle, isn’t it? Who knows what it will be like in a few years.

Thirdly, your source is Neuralink's official Twitter? Well I'm shocked to hear that they would have so many positive things to say about their invention. They're hardly going to say "Hey, if you get our brain implant then you're fucking nuts!" are they? Come on, man.

You just need to go on X and check whether it's real or not. All the people who signed up for the chip trial are disabled individuals. For them, going crazy or dying after getting the chip implanted isn't any more frightening than missing out on an opportunity to change their lives, right?

I know Elon Musk's ya boy and all that but even putting aside the fact that I think he's arguably the biggest prick on the planet right now, if I want to learn about Neuralink and whether I should have it implanted in my brain, I'm not going to ask Neuralink's official Twitter. I'd do some research of neutral sources, medical studies and expert opinions.

Doing so for 5 minutes led me to discover that the co-founder left the project over safety concerns and a lot of monkeys died.

These are people who are stuck in one place for their entire lives. They can’t even clean themselves or feed themselves — the most basic things imaginable. And you think they care about how much sugar is in a Sprite?


Look at people with terminal cancer. Chemotherapy and radiation are extremely toxic, they destroy the body and weaken your immune system. Every session is incredibly painful. But if there’s even the slightest chance to prolong their life, they’ll still do it. As long as there’s hope for a better life, they don’t care about anything else. They’ll search everywhere and try anything just to live longer.


The monkeys that died? Yes, it’s a sacrifice, but it’s necessary. You have to test on animals first before moving to humans. That’s exactly how organ transplants started — they tested on animals first, right?


And now look at how incredibly advanced human organ transplant technology has become: hearts, livers, lungs, kidneys… everything has progressed to an amazing level. They’re also gradually reducing animal testing and shifting toward computer simulations and AI instead.


A healthy person might worry about the sugar in Sprite damaging their body. But for someone who can’t even move, eat, or take care of their own hygiene, do you think they’re still worried about dying?


And one thing I really admire about Elon Musk is how he can work nonstop — 16 to 20 hours a day — and even after failing repeatedly, he still doesn’t give up on his goals. Plus, it’s the top 1 server, so of course I have to admire it.

I get your point but just imagine there is a new update like phone do get update how will they do that will they countinue to open up there head
