Google Maps VS Apple Maps: What Is Your Recent Experience?

I’ve noticed the same lately. Apple Maps rankings seem much easier to move compared to Google Maps right now.

My guess is the competition is still far lower, and many businesses haven’t fully optimized their Apple listings yet. That creates opportunities for local SEO.

Google Maps still drives the majority of leads in my experience, but Apple Maps visibility is becoming more valuable, especially with the number of iPhone users relying on Apple’s ecosystem.

Smart businesses should optimize for both instead of depending on a single platform.

Apple Maps feels easier for ranking right now, probably because competition is still much lower compared to Google Maps.
Google still brings most leads in my experience, but Apple visibility can still help, especially for iPhone users.
I think businesses should optimize both instead of relying on only one platform.

That’s a good point.
If one platform is consistently giving better visibility, it makes sense to focus more effort there while still maintaining presence on the others. Optimizing content and images based on what’s already performing is probably the smarter approach long term.
Appreciate the insight.
