LinkedIn's "link in comments" penalty seems to have ramped up this month. Posts that even mention checking the comments for a link are getting throttled.

Are you guys moving to the "Edit post after 1 hour" method to add the link, or just sending traffic to a featured section on your profile? What’s the current workaround for high-ticket lead gen?

LinkedIn still suppresses external links a bit, so keeping the CTA in comments or bio usually gives better reach than putting links directly in the post.

Honestly, I’ve noticed the same thing lately on LinkedIn. Even mentioning “link in comments” seems to reduce reach now.

What’s working better for high-ticket lead gen right now:
• Sending traffic to the Featured section
• Using a soft CTA like “DM me ‘guide’”
• Adding the external link later through post edit
• Using native documents/carousels to keep people on-platform longer

The “edit after 1 hour” method still works for some people, but profile funneling + DMs seem safer for consistent reach these days.
