Oppinion and development costs of an AI girlfriend platform

Hello,
What do you think about AI girlfriend platforms? Do they have any future? I'm talking about users being able to create very high quality NFSW AI girlfriends, talk to them, ask for videos etc.

I'm quoted between 20 and 30k $ for a full platform built from 0.

I would appreciate some personal thoughts on this business, if there are any chances of success and thoughts about the development costs.

I think ai girlfriend platforms have a future, especially with the demand for personalized companionship, and honestly, that dev cost sounds pretty standard for a full build if you're aiming for a solid mvp with scalability in mind
 
ai gf platforms definitely have a future, there's a huge market for it, but success hinges on execution and how you stand out from the existing players. Honestly, $20-30k for a "full platform built from 0" with hq nsfw ai and video generation sounds ridiculously low, like that's barely an mvp budget unless you're getting some seriously cheap labor or cutting massive corners
 
ai girlfriend platforms are so gonna be a thing, like, it's already trending hard, and honestly, $20-30k for a custom build sounds pretty reasonable to get a legit, super high-quality nsfw experience off the ground. if you nail the unique features and make it truly addictive, you could totally slay. I just remembered a movie named "HER" :D
 
If you want to customize and maintain AI models, the server costs will be significant. You also need a source of traffic to operate them.

Definitely not. AI makes everything faster and cheaper, so I would (have) hire(ed) a Dev to build a very lean MVP. you will need a unique angle to standout from all the existing platforms tho, so especially if you do not have that i would not invest that type of money.
 
There is a market for it but it is crowded and expensive to scale. Main costs are not just build but ai api, video generation, and ongoing infra. 20 to 30k sounds low if you want high quality media features. Success depends more on retention and content cost control than the initial build.
 
What's the lowest possible average monthly cost to run an AI girlfriend platform currently?
 
I think this is a market with great growth potential, but you have to invest in building a complete platform with a high-quality user experience, and the initial investment will be quite large. You could try building it step by step, especially for users to test and survey their feedback.
 
So much competition and over saturated.

I'm sorry but no, it's not worth it anymore. All those websites offer the same things. Always the same things.
AI girlfriends still work but you need to find THE idea to get something out of that business model which is not always green as you might expect.
 
The space is crowded too. Candy AI, OurDream, Nectar AI, Spicy Chat, CrushOn, and many more are already established. Need a clear edge or it's gonna be tough
 
It is worth it if you can come with a new concept to blow out a water the audience like offering something free and then work on tier based. Like give them a trial or something to check the experience before charging peoples money.
