Google ads for car services can work well, if you target right people

Is it a local service? In any case, yes, it's a very great way to get clients but depending on whether your business is local or not there will be a few differences for example the targeting etc so be careful

I'm in the car business. Import/Export

Depends on location and product.
(Whether it's rental or sales/time of year)
Currently I get the BEST results with marketplace more than ads.

For example, for USA and Caribbean,
I don't even need ads.
Marketplace is very effective

By results I mean more sales and more customers come to the shop (even if they don't buy anything)

I think it's a good idea. Ensure your location + keyword targeting is very tight and you filter negative keywords from viewing your ads so you don't waste ad budget on people who aren't looking for you.

Yeah, it can work pretty well for car services if you’re targeting local intent properly, since people searching usually already need something fixed or booked. The key is having a clear offer and a landing page that converts, otherwise you’ll just burn budget fast.

Yes, Google Ads works great for car services because people usually search only when they have an urgent, immediate need. To start without wasting budget, create separate ad groups for specific services like "brake repair" or "oil change" instead of just advertising your shop's name. Set a tight geographic radius around your shop so you only target local drivers, and immediately add negative keywords like "DIY" and "used parts" to filter out people who want to fix the car themselves.

What's the exact car service you refering to
If you are in a large City
This could work

Extremely effective because customers searching are in urgent need. The key is to avoid generic keywords and focus on "car repair nearby" and "24/7 roadside assistance". The plan: optimize the Google Maps, run search within a 10km radius of the workshop and offer a free vehicle inspection to attract customers

Of course you can.
You just need the right audience

Yes, local car services can work really well with Google Ads if the targeting and landing page are optimized properly.

Yes, it's quite effective if done correctly. People needing car repairs often search "car repair nearby" on Google, so ads easily attract real customers. Most importantly, good reviews, a clear phone number and targeting the right area are crucial

Google Ads can work very well for car services because customers usually search when they need immediate help. I’d start with a small budget, target high-intent local keywords, and create separate campaigns for each service (car repair, oil change, battery replacement, roadside assistance, etc.). A well-optimized landing page and a strong Google Business Profile can make a huge difference in conversions. Combining Google Ads with local SEO is usually the best long-term strategy.

Running Google Ads makes great sense for car services, by precisely targeting high-intent local searches, you can directly drive immediate, high conversion customers to your shop.

Also, it is crucial that your keywords are accurate.

Yesh, Google Ads can work really well for car services bcoz people usually search with high intent, if done right it can bring steady local leads but it can burn money fast if the targeting is too broad.

yeah it can work really well if you target the right local keywords and locations, just start with a small budget and see which services bring the best leads.

reviews are the most important marketing tool in this industry, so print cards to remind people and encourage them to rate your services

Yes, Google Ads can bring good leads for car services because people search only when they need help fast. Create separate campaigns for each service like "tire repair" or "battery replacement". Use location targeting with a small radius around your shop. Add negative keywords such as "DIY" or "cheap parts" to cut wasted clicks. Track calls and bookings so you know which ads pay off.
