Blog post to other social platforms ?

We have a financial news bot that aggregates news from the top news sources and posts on our site (under fair use). We get several posts a day based on the news stories of the day.

We have it so everytime a blog post is published - it triggers an automatic posts on linkedin (very minimal reach). Is there anywhere else this would do good? We have a very robust API and blog format.

I think it might be good to let platforms like medium or linkedin articles republish our content so more people see our news.

You should definitely repurpose it beyond LinkedIn because finance content works well on platforms that reward fast news updates. X/Twitter, Telegram channels, Reddit communities, and even Google News can drive much better traffic if the headlines are optimized properly. You could also turn the feed into short email digests or push notifications since finance audiences usually check updates multiple times a day.

X/Twitter and Telegram work way better for finance/news stuff in my experience, LinkedIn reach is usually dead unless you already got an audience.

I totally agree, most of the people shilling crypto and investments use X mostly.

X/Twitter, Reddit, Telegram, and Google News tend to work much better for fast-moving finance content than LinkedIn in my experience.

X and Telegram would probably give you way more traction than LinkedIn for finance content. Also look into Google News if your site is structured properly.

One thing that helps a lot: don’t auto-post just the link. Add a quick summary or key takeaway with it.

What I've seen is that when you're promoting finance content, it's all about being where the conversation is already happening, and for most people, that's Twitter, Reddit, or Telegram. LinkedIn can work if you've got a established audience, but it's not the best place to start from scratch. Adding a summary or key takeaway to your posts like someone mentioned earlier can make a big difference, it's not just about blasting links out. I've also noticed that using visuals, like infographics or charts, can help your content stand out, especially on Twitter and Instagram. It's also worth considering Medium, it's a great platform for sharing in-depth content and can help you build a following. By diversifying your platforms and tailoring your content, you can seriously boost your reach and engagement.

Another good option is Telegram channels because finance audiences like real time updates. Some finance bots grow surprisingly fast there.

You'll have a better reach on X and reddit. You should share the feed to as many platforms as you can.

Repurpose blog posts by sharing summaries on social media, turning points into threads, visuals, or short videos, and linking back to your blog for traffic.

I’ve had good luck mixing auto posts with one or two human written takes during the day, just so the feed doesn’t feel like it’s run on rails. Short video snapshots can pull in folks who ignore text posts, and they’re easy to batch. If you ever test Google News, keep headlines super clear and avoid anything that sounds hypey, otherwise it just sinks with zero clicks.
