What are the best services to use to accept crypto payments in 2026?

You can try Coinbase Commerce, CoinPayments, or Stripe (for stablecoin support). These are some of the commonly used options right now depending on whether you want pure crypto payments or a more business-friendly/stablecoin setup.

Do you want to convert crypto to fiat (USD, EUR, etc)
Or just want to accept crypto?

The ones you mentioned are perhaps the "most famous", but honestly I would never recommend them to anyone. I have often seen complaints where services like Coinpayments freeze funds during payment. If you are already paying for something, you don't want to get into the problem of why someone's payment was not accepted.
If it is already too complicated to start your payment gateway via btcpay, I would rather look for no-kyc options like Mixpay

Fair point. I mentioned those more as common/easy options, not perfect ones. Main thing is custodial vs non-custodial. BTCPay gives more control but takes more setup. Hosted processors are quicker, but you’re playing by their rules if they hold or review a payment.

You can focus more on reliability and payout flexibility than hype. Services that support stablecoins, easy API integration, fast settlements, and low fees tend to save a lot of stress long term. Also make sure they have decent support and don’t freeze accounts randomly once volume starts growing.

Bitpay seem like the safest if you want something that works without too much hassle
Or maybe Coingate

So far, more accessible is Coinbase. They are the best option for me right now.

In my opinion, Coinbase Commerce and NOWPayments are still among the best options in 2026. Stablecoins like USDT and USDC are leading crypto payments due to their speed and lower volatility.
