You can only choose 1 timeline,

A) Bring back the 2010 internet (no AI, simpler times)
B) Stay in today’s AI era
C) Jump straight to the 2035 AI future
D) Pause AI progress for the next 10 years

I’d go with C) Jump to 2035. I’m way too curious to see what AI looks like 10 years from now. Hopefully, it’s helping us more than replacing us :p

Which one are you choosing & why?

I'd go with D) Pause AI progress for the next 10 years. I think AI will bring more harm than good.

i will like to chose this "(C) Jump straight to the 2035 AI future" but i dont want to feel left out from each update for each year

The oldies would love the 2010
Bitcoin still in it infancy
Everything just starting to go up
Even housing was a bit easy
Ai future
God help us

A
Good times when internet had more human beings than bots, no social media algorithm, no infinite scrolling, no brainrot...

Stay in today
AI brings new opportunities for everyone
Now anyone can make insane amounts of money with proper idea
No need of huge financial investments and all
Best time to make money

b. I think there are a lot of opportunities in ai right now, eventually those opportunities will be taken, censored, or be monopolized.

C for me — jump to 2035. We're at a genuinely inflection point with AI applied to real-world data problems. In niche analytics (I work in sports data), the models are already producing signals that were impossible to derive manually. Pausing now would be like stopping the internet in 1999 because people were worried about banner ads. The disruption is real but the upside is bigger.

There will no be world in 10 years with AI ‍♂️ as soon as someone connect them all talking between theirselves … we will be gone … they will hack our banks, our water supply and etc .. we will be gone hahah I am in the same time just kidding but also thinking …

Do you guys think this is in some way possible of happening?

The risk is real but the framing matters. Current AI isn't autonomous — it does what it's told. The actual threat isn't spontaneous self-organisation, it's deliberate misuse by bad actors and cascading failures from over-reliance on automated systems. Infrastructure vulnerabilities already exist and don't need AGI to exploit them. The harder and more separate question of genuinely self-directed AI is still far from solved.

I prefer B. let see what happen today or tomorrow.

i will pick A, back in 2010 internet felt more real. Forums were active, content felt human and people actually explored the web instead of scrolling algorithms all day.
