Buy a domain and shared hosting, you can do that for $15-$20 a year.
You have control over everything, and if you are successful, the latter transition will be easier for you. I know it's easier for you, but nowadays it's not too complicated to set up a your own blog site, even if you don't have much experience

Wordpress.org self-hosted platform. Adsense is pretty hard to get approve now a days. Start with clickbank affiliate marketing and you don't even need a website. Post articles on currrently working parasites. You can start working right now as a matter of fact.

Blogger still works as a free option and you can get AdSense approval,but it has limits in control and seo.If you plan to grow long term,it is not best choice.WordPress.org gives full control and strongest for seo and scaling.medium and ghost are simpler,but they come with monetization and flexibility limits

If you're testing the waters, Blogger is fine, but I’ve found it starts feeling like a tiny apartment pretty fast. Once you want cleaner SEO and more control, WordPress on cheap hosting makes life easier. AdSense has turned into a bit of a picky landlord lately, so stacking some affiliate links early on can take the pressure off while you grow.

Wordpress.org is the biggest website/blog builder. Combine it with Elementor and you can have a fully functional site without any need of coding. Oh and around 30% of the websites/blogs in the world use Wordpress.
