As Iran and the U.S. continue to confuse everyone during the ongoing conflict, I’ve been scrolling a lot on X trying to get first-hand information and news I can leverage.
During this, I’ve noticed a lot of people talking about VIP tiers on different trading platforms.

It got me thinking, what exactly do these VIP tiers solve? Lower fees, better recognition, or extra perks?

As a scalp trader, fees have always been a big issue for me when using brokers. Since I’ve now seen multiple tweets about VIP programs, I’ve started digging into a few.
I currently use Bybit and Bitget, so I’ll be researching those to see if it’s really worth it. A friend of mine who uses Bitget says the fees are minimal, especially for stock but I’m not sure. Not noticed it myself.

This is something I wanna explore, but Do you all think switching to VIP is worth the hype?

yes it mainly solves the problem of high trading fees for active users. They take lower maker and taker fees which adds up fast for scalpers doing many trades in a day.

They also give extra perks like higher withdrawal limits, priority support , sometimes rewards and yes most importantly the fee savings.

However for a scalp trader, it’s worth checking your monthly volume which is if you already trade enough to hit the first VIP level (often around $1M spot or $5-10M derivatives), you’ll likely save money. If your volume is lower, the hype may not pay off yet.

If you’re scalping it’s definitely worth it, I personally don’t really do much trading so I stick to the regular account, both Kraken and Coinbase have pretty manageable fees.
Thanks for the input. Been trying out the two platforms listed but I think I've settled for Bitget vip cos asides fees they're other perks.. like having SpaceX pre spax IPO airdrop exposure without directly paying for it..

What's your thought on spaceX pre IPO hype?.

They lower your trading fees so if you are trading with higher volumes of crypto the VIP programs are definitely worth it.

If you need low fees, high volume and extra tech analysis, take VIP
