Refining my Reddit Strategy for 2026 (Avoiding Bans & Handling Telegram Links)

I’m planning to start a new Reddit presence. I know there is a lot of talk about massive account farms, but for now, my goal is simple: I just want to manage one consistently working account.

Back in 2022/2023, things seemed much easier. I could buy an aged account, log in, post Telegram links immediately, and drive traffic by boosting posts with SMM panel upvotes. Today, that approach is a one-way ticket to an instant ban. After dozens of failed attempts, I realized I wasn’t alone—everyone seems to be hitting the same wall.

Initially, I thought a basic residential SOCKS5 proxy paired with an anti-detect browser (Incogniton) would suffice. I tried creating new Gmails, warming up accounts, and even posting immediately. The results were inconsistent: some accounts were banned instantly, while others lasted 2–3 weeks before being flagged.


After researching the current landscape, I’ve put together a "top-down" strategy. I’d love your feedback on whether this plan is viable in the current meta:
1. Mobile Proxies: Acquiring a high-quality, reliable mobile proxy.
2. Anti-Detect Setup: Connecting the proxy to a dedicated anti-detect browser profile.
3. Browser Configuration: Fine-tuning the fingerprinting settings.
4. OS Spoofing (TCP/IP): Attempting to match the proxy’s OS fingerprint with the browser’s User-Agent.
5. Verification: Checking the setup via Iphey, Pixelscan, and Browserleaks.
6. Trust Score: Checking the reCAPTCHA v3 score before proceeding.
7. Cookie Farming: Visiting mainstream sites to build a realistic browsing history.
8. Account Creation: Registering a new Gmail account through the proxy.
9. Reddit Registration: Creating the account using the new Gmail.
10. Email Verification: Confirming the address immediately.
11. Warming Period (2+ weeks): * Day 1: Passive scrolling only.
• Day 2-3: Sparse upvoting/downvoting.
• Day 4+: Replying to comments in niche subreddits.
• Goal: Build organic karma and a solid CQS.
12. Soft Launch: After 3-4 weeks, creating a text post mentioning my Telegram username.
13. Full Link Deployment: Eventually posting direct Telegram links once the account is sufficiently aged and trusted.


Where I’m still struggling:
• Proxy Sourcing: Where can I find truly "clean" mobile proxies that haven't been blacklisted by Reddit? Could you recommend anyone here on BHW?
• Anti-Detect Setup: What should I change in my anti-detect profile?
• OS Spoofing: I’ve heard about matching the TCP/IP stack to the User-Agent, but I’m not entirely sure how to execute this technically.
• Verification: What should I look at at the websites I mentioned? How to check if everything is done properly?
• The "Telegram" Problem: Is it even possible to post direct Telegram links anymore? Even with aged accounts, I’ve seen them get flagged instantly.


Does this strategy seem solid, or am I missing a crucial piece of the puzzle? I am still learning and would appreciate any insights from those who have successfully navigated the recent algorithm updates

Australian proxies operate exactly the same as US ones however the market is still very much untapped. Our speeds, are not the greatest, you also won't find an Aussie that doesn't complain about their internet speeds.

However our IPs are clean and rank amongst the other tier 1 demographic online. Separately, I have done some manual work with Reddit but would love to learn more.

You can also take the route of physical phones as opposed to anti detect browsers. The advantage with physical phones is they are just about fool proof, with an additional spoofing tool and some creative vibe jailbreaking. You CAN create reddit accounts at scale with real phones and real mobile ips.

I prefer to go with the anti detect browsers since my setup requires it. Also, I want to learn how to do it on PC, I don't want to take the shortcuts, as I already spent too much time on this.

Your strategy appears sound overall but the warm-up process seems overkill to me.
In general I warm-up my accounts within 1-3 days max just by interacting as a regular user:
Day 1 = scrolling, upvoting
Day 2 = I start commenting on new user friendly subs

As far as promotional messages go, it doesn't matter how old or established your account is if you are targeting the wrong subs.
Just focus to explore subreddits with a more tolerant stance towards promotional posts.
Even small subs can bring decent & targeted traffic sometimes even better quality than bigger subs

I've tried your approach but accounts were banned, but I guess it was because of the wrong setup and proxy as well.
I am not targeting any subs, my goal is to create my own subreddit and post there.
