Link Insertion vs Paid Articles

If the existing page is genuinely relevant, indexed, has organic traffic, and your link can be added in a natural sentence, the insertion is usually the better buy. You are getting onto an aged URL that already has signals, rather than waiting for a new paid article to be indexed and earn any value.

The full article is worth paying extra for when you need control over the topic, title, surrounding copy, or when there is no existing page that fits your anchor. It can also make sense for branded/entity work, where the page itself needs to support the story rather than just hold a link.

I’d judge it by page level quality, not just DR. Check:

Is the exact URL indexed?
Does it rank for anything?
Is the article topically close to your page?
Would your anchor look editorial or forced?
Is the site full of random paid posts?

A relevant insertion on a real niche article beats a new guest post on a generic “accepts all niches” site most of the time. But a forced insertion into a weak or unrelated article is usually false economy.

yeah relvant aged pages with traffic usually work betterr for insertions. Random guest post on generic sitees dont feel strong anymore like before.
