Sure yes, of your own movie, you filmed with your own actors or just use AI, or make animations, but don't waste your youtube monization avenue by uploading OTHER peoples content. You really think you'd be the first person banned for doing so, and such a thing would be such an outrage you could get back on. Be careful once you good use up your cahnces, its VERY difficult to ever get back on when you finally do find a relaible content medium that youd like to pursue.
 
Yes, they can get claimed or struck if you upload trailers you don’t own. Even though trailers are promotional, the copyright still belongs to the studio/distributor.

Short clips can still get claimed or struck. There is no safe “X seconds is allowed” rule on YouTube.

It is safer when the clip is used for real commentary, review, criticism, or explanation, and not just uploaded as entertainment content.
 
If the content isn't yours, there's a high chance it will be flagged for copyright infringement.
 
If you edit somehow the trailer and not post directly is fine. I see many doing this but if you post exactly like it is will get strike fast
 
You can upload trailers, but most official ones get flagged automatically for copyright. Sometimes they stay up if you add commentary or transform it, but straight-up uploads usually hit Content ID claims.
 
You will be violating copyright if it is not your own production. Of course, if you are qualified to make it yourself, that's great.
 
Youtube may allow the upload,, but copyright owners still control how the content is used. that is why some trailer videos stay online while others get blocked or demonetized.

Chop the trailer into tiny chunks under 3 seconds each, mix them with edited screenshots, and overlay your own unique voiceover throughout the video. This breaks the audio-visual footprint and forces the system to recognize it as a transformative review.
 
If you want to use movie footage safely, the secret is completely muting the original audio track. Big studios have hyper-sensitive Content ID filters for their trailers sound effects and background music. Strip the original audio out entirely, overlay your own commentary or royalty . free music, and the automation will have a much harder time flagging your video

even if you do not get a copyright strike somehow, you will still get penalized for low quality re-used content, YT is more sensitive about clippers now
 
If the Movie is produced from you, then its no problem otherwise your video will be striked.
