Universal — failure-to-deliver refund (all products):
If we take payment and can't deliver the service as ordered (hardware unavailable, network spec we promised isn't there, IP block can't be assigned) → 100% refund within 24h, same currency you paid.
VPS, GPU & CDN — 7-day cool-off:
Virtualized / shared-resource products have a 7-day cool-off from activation. Cancel for any reason within that window, full refund. Excluded: usage overages, IP-lease fees if you elected to keep IPs.
Dedicated & Storage servers — no blanket cool-off (here's why):
Bare-metal boxes are physically racked, NIC-configured and IP-allocated for you specifically. The hardware costs us $2k–$15k per server before a single megabit flows. So we don't offer a "changed my mind" refund on dedicated / storage tiers. What we do offer:
Custom builds / annual prepay:
Custom builds with non-standard parts (specific NIC model, exotic NVMe layout, 400G optics, etc.) are non-refundable once parts are racked — we always tell you in writing before ordering parts. Annual prepay on virtualized products → pro-rata refund mid-term. Annual prepay on bare-metal → remaining months convert to credit, usable on any other Hostfory service.
Universal exclusions — no refund:
Account credits are non-refundable, non-transferable, do not expire — applicable to future Hostfory invoices only.

- Failure-to-deliver — 100%, 24h (as above).
- Spec-mismatch within 72h — if the box delivered doesn't match what you ordered (wrong CPU SKU, wrong disks, wrong port speed) and we can't swap inside 48h → full refund.
- Pro-rata SLA credit for downtime beyond our 99.9% SLA (applied to next invoice).
- Cancellation with restocking — first 14 days: cancel and get 70% refunded. We keep 30% to cover provisioning + the days the box sat unsellable. After 14 days, monthly billing simply doesn't renew.
Custom builds / annual prepay:
Custom builds with non-standard parts (specific NIC model, exotic NVMe layout, 400G optics, etc.) are non-refundable once parts are racked — we always tell you in writing before ordering parts.
