Are traditional link indexers dead in 2026? What's working?

Hey everyone,

I've noticed that traditional indexing tools are struggling hard lately to index tier 1 and tier 2 links (like Web 2.0s and PBNs). Things that used to index quickly are now taking weeks or just ignoring Google entirely.

What is actually working for you right now to force-index backlinks? Are you relying on the Google API trick, driving social traffic, or using a specific indexer that still works?

Would love to hear your current strategies!

Which indexers were working for you before? When did they stop working for you?

The Google Indexing API method DOES seem to have had it's constraints lessened lately, but I suspect that may be unintentional on their part.
 
Most google indexers do not work much now, google just ignores low quality links . I seen better results when links come from real sites and that get crawled, plus some internal linking helps. indexing tools alone are not enough anymore.
 
Traditional link indexers are not completely dead in 2026, but they are much less effective now. Google has become smarter, so low quality links like pbns or weak Web 2.0s often get ignored. What’s working better today is building real traffic and signals. Sharing links on social media, getting a few real clicks, and adding internal links from indexed pages helps faster. Also, using Google Search Console or API methods can help, but quality and relevance matter more than forcing index now.

1hping is actually working better than most old indexers right now. I’ve seen decent indexing rates with it.
 
Yes most old-school indexers don’t work anymore as Google prioritizes real discovery over artificial pinging. Focus on internal linking, fresh content links, and sharing on high-crawl sites like X or Medium.

they closed there services due to lack of resources and google policy change is there any alternative like this
 
Traditional indexers are definitely losing their mojo, so people are trying all sorts of stuff like the google api, social traffic, or even still hunting for a good indexer. Finding something that works consistently is the real challenge these days
