Antidetect vs portable browsers

I would choose an anti-detection browser, considering that there are free plans available. I use Linken Sphere for my Reddit accounts.

The anti-detect browser is running many processes in the background.
 
Portable browsers with proxies aren’t true anti-detect tools; they still leak fingerprints unlike real anti-detect browsers.

You've hit on a common DIY method, but there’s a major catch: browser fingerprinting. While Portable Firefox keeps your cookies and cache separate, it doesn't mask your hardware identity.

Reddit’s anti-spam AI looks at more than just IP addresses. It checks your Canvas, WebGL, AudioContext, and Font lists. Since all your portable copies are running on the same OS and hardware, these signatures will be identical. Once one account gets flagged, Reddit can easily 'chain-ban' the rest because they look like they’re coming from the exact same device. Antidetect browsers exist specifically to spoof these unique hardware signals for each profile.
 
Stick to antidetect browsers if the accounts are valuable to you

A portable browser does not pollute the useragent, graphics card, does not create noise, cannot change the operating system and other factors. my advice is to use exceptionally good anti-detection browsers.

nah, portable Firefox won't cut it for Reddit farming because it doesn't spoof hardware fingerprints, so all those copies still look the same to Reddit; grab GoLogin or IPHey if you actually want to stay alive.

Portable Firefox can work for basic setups, but I don’t think it fully replaces anti-detect browsers. Anti-detect tools also handle stuff like fingerprints, cookies, fonts, WebGL, etc.

For small-scale use, portable browsers + proxies can probably do the job. But if you plan to scale or keep accounts long term, anti-detect browsers are still safer in my opinion.
 
No, unfortunately none of these scanners make you completely anonymous. Because they create everything uniquely, sites detect you as suspicious. You would have to collect original fingerprints from different real people yourself and integrate them.
 
bro portable firefox only isolates cookies and local files but it leaks your canvas fingerprints audio contexts and hardware data to reddit an antidetect browser spoofing those deep hardware footprints is necessary to avoid instant mass bans
 
Portable Firefox is fine for separating sessions, but it's not really the same as an anti-detect browser. Anti-detect tools handle fingerprints, while Portable Firefox is mostly just a separate browser instance. It might work for a few accounts, but for long-term account management, there’s a big difference
 
You can change your IP address using a browser extension or ProxyFire, but your browsing fingerprints will remain the same.

If you re using a portable browser, trial versions of anti-detection tools are often enough for your needs. Linker Sphere and Dolphin each offer 5 free profiles. I’d always go with anti-detection if you are working with platforms that might ban you.

Plus, introductory monthly subscriptions usually cost up to $30 a month (less than $1 a day)
