partially true. they pulled E2E encryption from Instagram DMs on May 8, blamed low adoption. WhatsApp still has it, Messenger is still rolling it out.

No, i think that's actually inaccurate, as Meta has recently done the exact opposite by rolling out default end-to-end encryption for Messenger and WhatsApp rather than ending it

Not exactly Meta has not removed end to end encryption everywhere but Instagram DMs recently lost their optional encrypted chat feature globally WhatsApp still uses end to end encryption by default and Meta publicly says it cannot read private WhatsApp messages
