I'm trying to log into yahoo on a Decodo Mobile proxy, and they want to know why I need to access yahoo, and now they want my LinkedIn profile and website, and who knows what else. I'm about to abandon the process and try a different proxy, but there's no guarantee I won't run into the same problem with other proxies. Is this normal? I figured logging into an email would be a pretty common need on a proxy, so I'm surprised to have to jump through so many hoops.
Is it normal to be interrogated before getting sites unblocked?

How do you deal with this? Do you just find a proxy that doesn't do this? Set up your own infra? Or do you log into email some other way without a proxy? I'm doing Reddit account management, so 1 email per account. I highly doubt any proxy is going to be ok with me logging into 50 different email accounts on 50 different proxies.

ill walk away of they are asking for that much upfront. some vetting is normal but once they want personal profiles i would suspect they are already getting some heat from abuse complaints. the bigger issue with email is usually session quality and not just the mobile proxy.
if the exit IP changes too often or the carrier pool is already flagged, logins get challenged fast.
