hello
i'm just starting out a sports analysis channel with original content and i'm planning to run ads on social media to run traffic to the channel, but i've told that i'd need to have subscribers, even fake ones as long as they're humans, so that when i launch ads, my campaigns are successful. to those who walked the sale path, do you think this is a good strategy? can you recommend me services that populate channels with humans subscriberd?

You don't need fake subscribers to be successful. It's best that your channel looks active and big, thus some buy fake users, but that's all. Your ads won't perform differently by buying fake users, it's just for marketing / psychological effect basically

exactly, it's for the psycholigical lever. so that when prospects from ads vidit the channel, they see a "respectable"number of subscribers. but claude warned me that some visitors would see a mismatch between subscribers count and post views coung

That will always be the case with fake followers. Your engagement will be nowhere near average for that amount of group members. So you gotta grow it fast with legit users
 
Nah man, skip the fake subs. When you buy those human subs, they're just random accounts from click farms. They dont watch your content. So your actual view count stays zero and your engagement rate tanks. Google sees that and assumes your content is trash.

If you really want to warm the channel up, just upload shorts for two weeks. You'll get some organic numbers and that looks way cleaner to the ad system

i was thinking that i'll buy subscribers and post views and post reactions but honestly the more i think about it the less apealing it becomes lol, but at same time launching ads in a empty channel seems like a bad way to kick things off
it's a tough spot lol. thank you for the input

i was thinking to honeslty get subscribers and post views as well as post reactions proportional to how many subscribers i buy, but the fake/bot seems to be killong yhe organic reach and might end up causing shadow bans or straight bans especially that i in the gamblimg affiliate niche
 
Simply having a lot of subscribers on your channel won't be enough
you need to buy targeted audience from other tg channels, Facebook, and Google and work on a long-term approach
only after this you will have some results
 
Much better to get actual real subscribers as they will always have more value than cheap fake subscribers.

Another thing is always cross promote in our various channels, as some people that may follow you elsewhere will add your channel on TG or elsewhere as well.

the only i need from fake susbscribers is the "social proof" to make the channel look full before i launch ads
i've been looking into purchasing targeted audience especially from other tg channels, but i haven't cracked this one yet

thats the long term plan! but i need to speed this up for revenue and successful ad campaigns by creating "social proof" that is convincing enough for when i launch my first social media ad campaigns
 
your engagement ends up way below what you’d expect for a group that size,That’s always the downside of fake followers. The goal should be to grow quickly, but with real, genuine users.

If you focus on attracting subscribers—including fake ones—your advertising budget will be spent inefficiently and at a high cost. Instead, focus on optimizing your channel and ad content to generate organic appeal.

Fake subscribers can actually hurt you because they won't see your ads (they will be bot subscribers). Try growing organically and/or with ads but ALWAYS attract real subscribers.

What works better is bringing traffic from outside niche communitie Reddit, XYouTube TikTok or paid placement in related Telegram channels. The channel itself needs to give people a reason to stay, like exclusive updates dealsfiles alerts or useful daily content
