Before you can promote SaaS products, you first need to get approved for their affiliate programs.

These days, many SaaS affiliate programs are not very beginner-friendly. The most widely used SaaS affiliate network is PartnerStack. I was able to get approved when I was just starting out, but they still required me to provide a website or proof of social media traffic.

A better approach is to use affiliate software platforms to identify SaaS companies that run their affiliate programs through those tools, then apply directly on the companies’ websites. Some SaaS affiliate programs on these platforms have virtually no barriers to entry. You simply sign up, get approved immediately, and can start promoting right away.

My advice is to first build a list of SaaS products you’re eligible to promote, and then start researching how to market them effectively.
