Why is there a requirement to write 100 messages for Jr.Vip membership?

Wondering too. Maybe they had people buy it before just to spam or scam

Sending 100 messages doesn't guarantee a user won't commit fraud, does it?

It does but a pretty high barrier lol. Someone wanting to spam or scam would have two choices:
1 -> create a new account and contribute for days / weeks to reach 100 messages, just to be able to scam once
2 -> not contribute and just spam every thread and get banned and detected instantly.
I feel like they should probably allow you to purchase the upgrade, but keep the message minimums to post on important categories no? Would allow them to make more money too

or maybe buy marketplace seller membership instead of jr.vip?
i don't think the idea of the jr.vip is there to "stop" scams, as scams will happen no matter what in any forum no matter the requirement, it's intended to make the jr.vip members less likely to scam as they do not want to lose their status etc etc
you mentioned you wanted to sell, in that case marketplace seller is the correct thing to buy into as it's what you need.

I'm not in a position to pay $750 right now, but I think they should relax the 100 message requirement. Trade ratings should be sent to profiles for each purchase (positive/negative).
Example: Successful seller, product x purchased.
Example: Product x sold, thank you.
This way, a user looking to buy a product or anything else can see the previously given trade ratings on the profile and act accordingly.
