Did you get the account banned for spam? Pinterest typically bans the acc and blocks the domain shortly after (a few days max). It's risky to reuse the domain because a penalty (shadowban, suppression in reach, etc.) might carry over to it. I'd buy a new domain and potentially duplicate the content from the old domain.

Pinterest seems to have made a new update recently.
Pins with text over images no longer appear at the top.
When I search for keywords, the top results are now either video pins or pins with only images.
It seems to have slightly reduced traffic to my site.

I'm pivoting my content/pins to another niche in the hopes of getting some traffic flowing back to this account as the original niche is very bad for traffic now.

Ah, okay. The scenario where your account gets banned but your domain isn’t blocked is very unlikely. Pinterest likes to kill two birds with one stone.

Here is another update.

- Looks like my main account is starting to recover. It got hit in April just like many other accounts, it went from 30K impressions a day to almost zero. Now all the work I've been putting in last month is starting to payoff (I hope). Looking at the screenshot, you can tell that it takes around 1 - 2 months to start seeing good impressions on pins.

- My second website/Pinterest account that i bought is also doing well, bringing in around 17K impressions a day. It's not monetized yet, I've applied for both AdSense and Mediavine, it's been almost a week and no answer. When it's monetized, then i can start growing it.

- My third account looks dead (It's an old account). But, I haven't posted many pins either, only around 300 pins. I'm hesiteting to keep posting on this acount if it's likely to be penelized, my pins cost me alot of money.

- I have many other account, but I did not really work on them, it's too much work. I've also spent to much time working on workflows and outomations, to make it easily to create many blog posts and pins.

- All pins are created by ai.
- I'm not posting pins manualy, I'm instead using the CSV file upload. I've created scripts that fill up the info on the excel sheet.
- I've also created a script that makes long form content with images together. Before I was making images separetery, then manually adding them into a blog post, it was time consuming.
