Complete beginner trying to learn SEO and make my first $100 online

Hey everyone,


I’m starting this journey thread as a complete beginner. I don’t have any experience in SEO or making money online, but I want to learn properly and stay consistent instead of jumping from one idea to another.


Right now, my main goal is simple:
* Learn the basics of SEO step by step
* Understand what actually works in 2026
* Try to make my first small income online ($100 is the first target)


At the moment, I’m still figuring out which direction to focus on (niche sites, freelancing, affiliate marketing, etc.), so I’m open to advice from people who have been doing this longer.


I’ll be updating this thread as I learn and take action, even if progress is small. The goal is to stay consistent and track everything I do from day one.


If anyone has advice for someone starting completely from zero, I’d really appreciate it.

Check out Ahref's Academy and after that Yoast SEO academy, there's a lot of free sources out there.

Then once you're a bit more comfortable with the industry, I would recommend that you try out Adsense and blogging, when I was a beginner I made my first $100 with it.
