Should my old Wordpress speed optimization business website be repurposed as a PBN or a Link Farm?

I used to be a top wordpress speed optimization expert, preffered freelancer (meaning top 1% of freelancers) on freelancer.com. The website or this business has been active since the beggining, it's 7 years old and on a domain worth 10.000$ due to having a good brand name. The website itself was never intended to rank and get clients out of SEO but it does have some 3000$ worth of links. It's totally virgin, totally clean. The website never gave links away to anybody so far and was used as a real business website. It's now not used anymore cause I've moved into SEO.

In your opinion, should this website be now repurposed into a PBN or into a Link Farm? Any idea about how to rise it's DR, DA, etc. artificially since that's what I'm supposed to do now? For how much can this be rented as a real legit PBN and how much would it probably make as a link farm? Any suggestions in general about this kind of situation?

PBN is a network you need more than on site to build a network. Have you sold any link before? If not avoid it. It much harder to get into the game now compared to before. You might end up selling 0 links.

link farm = burn in months. waste of a 7y clean domain. better rebuild it as authority site, keep branding, add fresh content, then drop few controlled links. that’s where value is

1) Using this website as a PBN for an US client. Is there a big problem the fact that it's a tech website linking to a local company in Las Vegas, USA from a different niche? How much power would I get for my client by using the website like this?

And... how is this normally done? A link from the homepage and that's it? Maybe I can't give it a link from the homepage, but I can give it a link from the blog and from some other inner page, presented as some sort of example of a speed optimized website.

2) Finding somebody interested in using this basically clean PBN of mine, selling just 4-5 links from it but for a high price? How high of a price?

3) Turning it into a link farm that sells links. It has a 10k domain with a name that looks great for a website selling links. Maybe I can increase it's metricts artificially and sell links from it. Weather I do it rarely and for a high price or let my website get to have like 20+ sellers on Fiverr - it depends. What do you guys suggest? What investments would be necessary to turn it into a website capable of sellings links on the blog for 25$, 50$, 100$ ?

Repurpose it as a high-tier PBN or use it exclusively for your own money sites rather than turning it into a link farm. A virgin domain with a clean 7-year history can rent for $50–$150+ per link monthly to high-end clients, whereas link farms get burned quickly by Google. Artificially inflate DR/DA using high-authority redirects or bulk cloud stacks, but keep the link velocity natural to protect that premium authority.

1) How many links can it hold at one time? 10 x 100$ = 1000$/month? Where will it hold so many links? Homepage + inner pages or all on homepage somehow? How do you integrate random links into the homepage of a wordpress speed optimization website?
2) How do I get in contact with the kind of people that sell this type of high quality links?
3) How much more do I have to invest to make it worth so much per link cause right now, it doesn't really have too much. It was never intended to rank on speed optimization KW cause they had little searches and the link investment would have been huge and unprofitable. Better spent elsewhere. But it does have about 2000-3000$ worth of links that probably worth even less than that now.

The domain is very expensive, 10.000$ cause it has a cool brand name. I got it for free in 2017 when I got it. Somehow it just expired. It was used since 2002 by a small cable internet firm in England before that. It's old, clean, legit, but it doesn't really have a strong link profile.

Around how much $ link investment would it take to make this a PBN capable of selling 100$/month links x 10 - ? Also, can it continue to get used as a wordpress speed optimization business website while doing this? It still receies some clients from time to time even though the majority came through freelancer.

Definitely build it out as a high quality, private PBN rather than turning it into a public link farm. If the domain is a 7 year old virgin business site with a clean link profile and $3,000 worth of foundational power, turning it into a public link farm will just nuke its value in the next spam update.
Keep it clean, only link out to a few of your own high value money sites or exclusive clients, and keep the content niche relevant to tech, hosting, or web design. A clean, niche specific PBN with real historical business authority is incredibly rare and worth way more longterm than the quick cash youd make renting it out to random spammers.

PBNs are a black hat method where you can get your website penalized by search engine. I suggest building it as an authority site only with white hat techniques and either implement Google adsense or affiliate links in order to profit from it.
