My Long-Term Journey To $10k/Month Using YouTube

Hello BHW,

I have been a very heavy lurker of the forum and have learned a lot from it, so I would like to share my first ever journey on here.

Background:

I don't have a huge track record of success but I have a pretty good understanding of how the Internet works and I'm ready to take action.
I have spent the past few months researching the YouTube algorithm and SEO and I believe I understand it.
I have some experience with Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop which will definitely help me out.

The Plan:

1. Post every 1-2 days consistently on the main channel, properly SEO and algorithm optimized.
2. Get Monetized.
3. Once I begin to avg. 5k views a day outsource content creation.
4. Create a new channel where content creation is completely outsourced.
5. Keep creating channels.

How Many Views Do I Need To Achieve This:

Let me take you back to math class ;)

In the niche I am planning to make videos in, the rough CPM is $10.
Meaning to make $10,000 we need $10 x 1000
1000 views(@ $10 CPM) x 1000 = 1,000,000 Views.
1,000,000 views over 30 days comes out at an average of roughly 33.5k views.
Meaning to make $10,000 monthly doing this I need either -

7 Channels @ 5k views a day
5 Channels @ 7k views a day
3 Channels @ 11k views a day
2 Channels @ 17k views a day
1 Channel @ 33.5k views a day

I think this is very possible and I am very driven to accomplish this.

The Goals:

Post a video [Done]
Get a 100 view video [X]
Get a 1000 view video [X]
Get 1000 subscribers [X]
Get 4000 watch hours [X]
Get Monetized [X]
Average 1k views a day [X]
Average 5k views a day [X]
Outsource content creation [X]
Create more channels [X]

Conclusion:

I think I am capable of doing this and I will not give up no matter what.
If there is anyone who is on a similar journey or knowledgable about this subject, please do shoot me a DM as I'm trying to connect with similar minds.

Also if anyone has any tips or anything to add please reply to this thread.
I really hope to motivate a lot of people with the success that'll be coming my way in the next few months/years, I need the BHW community to hold me accountable!

Good luck on your own journeys too!
Good Luck Buddy

you have everything planned so well, so how soon do you think you can reach 1.000.000 views?
I don't really have a time-frame in mind, however long it should take, it will. I'll worry about my first goal before thinking about my 2nd. :)

Goodluck mate. I'm also looking to get started with YouTube but the concept of making videos just scares the shit out of me. :D

I mean from writing scripts to actually voice overs, SEO, editing, promotion, monetisation and so on. I'll give it a shot though, but when I have enough cash to pour in.

Goodluck once again, I wish you the best on your journey.

It definitely is a grind, but there is a lot of valuable skills to be learned that way, for someone like me with not much experience that is.

All the best to you too!

First do it yourself and then find ways in which you can outsource parts and then fully outsource everything.

Since a video keeps earning for long term, we can invest money into its production.

This is what I have planned for the channel in my niche

I agree with this.

You started on November 10, I guess. How many videos have you posted so far? And have you found any success in getting views at all? Are you using any platform to get initial views?
