I'm opening my own local sportsbook.

I would need a card or a crypto payment system.

what are my options regarding payouts to players/customers?

renting a strip account or some crypto payment processor?

do you have any ideas on how to implement this?

Hey mate - did you find?
BTW - Would be happy to hear about the logid/code

For sportsbooks, payments are considered high-risk, so mainstream processors can be restrictive or freeze funds if compliance is unclear. Most operators use a mix of card processing and crypto rails rather than relying on one provider.

For crypto, gateways like NadiFin, Cryptomus, and CoinGate can handle deposits, invoices, and automated payout flows. Stablecoins are commonly used because payouts are fast and global.

For cards, you usually need a licensed high-risk processor and proper compliance/KYC setup or just use a fiat-on-ramp like Ivno. Avoid “renting” Stripe accounts or third-party accounts because that often leads to shutdowns and frozen balances.

Most sportsbook setups use card gateway for mainstream users, crypto for fast withdrawals, and wallet-based payout systems.

First things first: Stay far away from renting Stripe accounts for a sportsbook. Mainstream processors have brutal automated tracking for gambling-related transaction patterns. Your account will get flagged instantly, and your funds will be frozen for 180 days minimum.

Since it's a sportsbook, Crypto is your safest and most reliable bet. For automated player deposits and mass payouts via API, you should check out processors like Cryptomus, CoinPayments, or Plisio. If you want a fully decentralized, self-hosted setup with zero transaction fees, look into BTCPay Server. It takes a bit more dev work to implement but gives you 100% control over your funds.

Running payouts through rented/borrowed processing usually creates freezes and chargeback issues fast. A properly structured merchant setup with crypto + card routing and risk management works much better long term. Someone help me with this when I open my store and feel free to contact and can share the more details/ right direction .
