I have seen allot of Linkedin groups offering asking for Linkedin renting. Could someone explain.

Isn't this about renting accounts?

They claim they will "rent" them from you, and you make a nice profit, no hassle. Yet its a scam, they will steal/abuse your account beyond use.

They rent accounts to run advertisements or use them for direct messaging. However, rental policies are often unfavorable for the account owners.

Most LinkedIn “renting” offers are people wanting to use your account’s age, connections, or trust score for outreach and ads, but many end up abusing or permanently damaging the account.

LinkedIn renting refers to people paying to use someone else's old or well established LinkedIn account for marketing networking or lead generation.

Basically, agencies pay to use your profile to run ads or send cold messages. They use older accounts because LinkedIn's spam filters are less likely to flag them

simply put its all about renting established profiles
to by pass certain restrictions .

They want place where they can post anything without restriction and for this reason they rent

explain. are they offering you account to rent or they are using your account?

This is the first time I’ve heard of this, but if it involves renting an account, I don’t think LinkedIn would allow it.

simply they just rent your account, borrow, for a lease and at a certain period of time, basically they are looking for aged, well established accounts to do cold messaging and put marketing materials using your profile. be careful out there tho, lots of scammers out to get your account

Usually this refers to “profile renting” - when people use someone else’s profile or identity for promotion, hiring, sales outreach, or account-related work.
But it’s a pretty gray and risky area because it can violate LinkedIn rules and lead to account bans.

I also need to rent account.

Buying a LinkedIn account is similar to other platforms. Their main goal is to promote.
