My Journey to 10,000+ Automated Social Media Accounts Generating Millions For My Brand Network

Hey everyone, I'm new to BHW but not new to fun and creative marketing tactics.

Been in the world of tech and marketing for about 10 years or so now. In that time I've almost exclusively worked with other brands as the growth partner or optimizations expert. I've been fortunate enough to find success in this space and have generated somewhere in the ballpark of 7 - 8 billion views at this point across social media, paid media, organic, email, sms and collabs/PR. Across all of this, the attributed revenue is somewhere between $500M - $1B to date.

I say this not as a bragging point but as a benchmark. It's been an extremely exciting journey and I've learned a ton.. but the unfortunate part there has been 2 MASSIVE problems with the "success" of all of this.. (and the reason I'm setting out on a new journey)

1. None of these brands have been my own. I've grown multiple agencies along the way and managed dozens of employees in the process, but have only owned the agencies. So when the exit time comes around or the grown is so rapid and automated the brand doesn't need an expensive agency anymore.. all of this success is nothing but a "churn" statistic for me.
   
   
2. Almost all of these brands have momentum or large funding budgets that have allowed us to hit the ground sprinting. In today's world, I'm 100% confident this should not be the necessity so while I will probably spend a lot building the systems themselves, I want to build a system so that I don't need hundreds of thousands or even millions to launch dozens of brands internally.

For these 2 reasons, I am setting out on this journey.

Now.. the main reason for me stepping onto this platform and sharing everything along the way.

Almost every thread I've ever read on here is a subtle plug to a product (not all of them to be clear, some are genuinely informational) they want you to pay for. I actually have nothing to sell you.. THE ONLY THING I can get out of this is:

3. Advice

Here's exactly why:

I have been OBSESSED with the concept of phone farms and mass social media automations, but despite trying to find the answers, I still know almost nothing about them currently. I have studied what them lightly for around the last year, have found different make shift solutions that did not work well for me, and am hoping to connect with the true experts here on BHW.

I have already made a lot of money in marketing, have already built businesses and already know how to market.. so I don't need to sell to other people trying to learn. INSTEAD I am writing this with the hope of trading value:

MY VALUE: I share all of the actual tactics, systems, and strategies I've used to generate my marketing successes so far. People literally pay $10k+ for this currently and I have been a keynote speaker and guest speaker at some of the largest marketing conventions in the world.. but I only seek knowledge here.

YOUR VALUE: For those of you willing, you share insights, strategies, tools and systems to truly build out the phone farm system of my dreams.


Here is my goal for this journey:

To find the systems to build a mass social media automation system that powers the growth of my own brands.

It really doesn't matter to me how.. but I would love to connect with experts in the space! I want to truly learn and have a system that allows me to have hundreds (and thousands) of healthy accounts that are warmed, and consistently posting across Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, Reddit, and more..

Okay! I have 2 posts immediately planned for this Thread to kick things off with some value and some knowledge seeking.

Post 1:
For post 1 I will lay out my initial thoughts and plans on the overall marketing and general niches I will be tackling (and types of brands I plan to launch).

In addition to this, I will also be focusing on all of the areas I could use any advice/recommendations regarding building out the phone farm. Because I am assuming I will not have everything shared with me immediately, I will also be testing and learning on my own..

Which I will be of course sharing here along the way as well!


Post 2:
For post 2 I will focus more on some of the most powerful general marketing tactics and systems I want to leverage to ensure these brands have an extremely high chance of succeeding (even if I didn't use a phone farm).

Because I understand many struggle people struggle to reach millions of potential customers each month, in this second post I will do my best to cover a lot of the topic level basics, essentials, and some of my favorite combinations to ensure a successful launch!

Post 1: General Plan, Knowledge Seeking and Key Focus Points

Okay, so for everyone that is reading this, my focus in this first post is, as the title says, laying the ground work of my plans, what I'm currently lacking, and what success will look like when it works.


General Plan

The general overview: build out the infrastructure necessary to manage 10,000+ social media accounts across a few of the top social media platforms.

Do so through a combination of physical devices and cloud emulated devices.

Leverage these devices/accounts in order to push content (UGC-style, carousels, static posts, SFC, etc.) and define the narrative of my brands while drastically lowering cost of distribution AND creating a much more scalable distribution system.

For some of you less familiar with marketing tactics, you may be wondering what I am comparing this strategy to when I say things like "much more scalable" or "lower cost".. if that is you, then stick around for post 2 (which will be released within the next 24 hours) where I'll cover a bunch of the existing systems and tactics I've used to generate the views and revenue that I mentioned in the first post of this thread.

All this said, if executed correctly, this will allow me to launch and scale brands with completely controlled distribution systems and virtually free validation, virality and general reach.

Additionally, I will have the opportunity to allow each brand the chance for validation on several of the top social media platforms. This will ensure brands don't fail because of a lack or inability to reach ideal audiences.



Knowledge Seeking

For me personally, and for the success of this entire project, perhaps the most important piece of all.

I already have all of the marketing expertise necessary to generate views, drive sales and optimize conversions. BUT I am currently missing something very very important.

I lack an actual working system for the scalable phone farm (as you can probably tell by now, this is one of the main reasons for this thread)

Here's a few of the largest points that MUST BE SOLVED before I can truly test the limitations of this entire project:

• I need to find a software that allows me to safely run the accounts (ideally across Instagram, TikTok and X)
• I need to find the proper settings to ensure consistent and healthy warm up patterns to maintain low ban rate
• I need to find a system that allows me to mass generate new accounts to be used for the warm
• I need to confirm what is truly best in terms of physical vs emulated and iOS vs Android

Touching on a few of these points above..

I have tested a few software before and not found a lot of success even when working directly with the people running the software or "experts" running it for me. I did this to ensure that I wasn't the one causing the errors before deeming the software unhelpful or unsuccessful.

One of my biggest concerns is targeting. Sure I will figure out how to get the accounts established as US accounts (or wherever I target) but I also need them to consistently target the right US accounts when I am posting on them.. for this I will need ongoing warming and engagement to get this right.

Lastly, through much research I have found that iOS seems to be the safest and easiest possible hardware for this solution because the devices have higher trust scores much more easily on the platforms. That being said, for a test of this scale and degree, it's definitely worth exploring if the other options can also potentially provide benefits and advantages.


Now, the only piece of this entire project I am truly asking for help on..

IF you know the answer to any of these points, with genuine solutions, and are willing to share them with me, I would be extremely appreciative and grateful.

I am also willing to pay for consultation, invest in software, buy hardware, or whatever else is necessary.. provided you can show some supporting proof that the solutions work.



Key Focus Points

Now lastly, for the actual points of focus to ensure the test has a very high chance of success.

A majority of my biggest success stories have existed in three top-level niches:

1. SaaS (B2B and B2C apps, web and mobile, have helped brands acquire 10M+ users to date)
   
   
2. Ecommerce (one of the easiest to generate views for, have worked with billion dollar brands)
   
   
3. Info (have been a part of offers that scaled to $1M+ per month before)

These will be the types of business models I test across, and for each of them I will use some of the largest and most validated niches out there, which I will share along the way when I do so.



BUT, first things first, I need to continue searching for the necessary elements to the phone farm. AND I will be dropping my second person in the next 24 hours with a bunch of value explaining more about all the exact marketing tactics I've found a lot of success with so far (lots of it will be used in this project as well).

The best people in the game in all social medias are those that are focused on ONE account, and instead their machine is their content churn out. I don't think there is a future spamming platforms with thousands of accounts it takes too much to manage them and they have a MUCH BIGGER budget to beat you than you beat them full stop. lol

But anyway, time wasted in your favourite hobby to learn something even if it is failure is not wasted time, but a valuable experience. I hope you can get that and more. Best of luck.

I appreciate you sharing these! I've been going through them to see how they may compliment these efforts best. In many ways, they do support my logic on sticking with iOS devices. Most of these offer both options but allude to the fact that iOS is more stable and reliable for social media automations.

All in all from my research, it is likely just because the devices have no emulated compatibility so it's easier for social media algorithms to assume they are safe.

An additional interesting finding is that a couple platforms (such as X/Twitter) don't seem to play favorites.. in fact, from what I found from leaked algorithms and insights shared from engineers on their team, it doesn't even matter if you're on a mobile device or not.

That being said, it does seem to way in regarding general account safety scores.. meaning you could get banned much more easily, even if you are not affected in terms of average account reach.

As I continue exploring this, the biggest factor beyond the actual automations will be finding the safest practices that truly work at scale.

i.e. best "warming" efforts, account creation health, posting practices, engagement practices.

There's lots of stuff I've used in the past but it's always been for just a couple accounts per project so it was easier to focus financials into them as well.. when at scale across thousands of accounts it will be a bit different.

While the top industry leaders definitely have 1 - 3 large accounts they focus their greatest efforts into, most of them have extended distribution. In almost every space I've ever participated in, this is true.

They either manage a network of small accounts, pay large clipping teams, use influencer collabs, hire internal UGC actors, or leverage other page's distribution (i.e. theme pages..)

Regardless of the exact strategy, I have not found a rapid-scaling brand or business (including personal brands) that does not do this.

I have even seen governments and government officials invest heavily in this (mainly the collaborations, influencers and shoutouts)

And while I recognize what I'm up against, that is sort of my point. Even a small chunk would capture more traffic than what I currently can. In this test, the horizontal scalability IS my vertical scalability.. and will be my ultimate advantage.

We are on the same path. I’m looking to create an extensive physical phone farm as well. My needs are just reddit for now but obviously would love to expand to any platform that can be monetized without jeopardizing reddit
