Used spyfu for keywords and Claude to optimize my ad copy.

Ended up blowing about 400 dollars on Google Search ads. Yet zero sales.

Can't be the landing page, can it?

Is this normal? How much have u blown on testing?

You chose wrong ads network in my opinion. Lots of members have reported here recently that only thing that works with Google ads is local services - example home repair, hvac, garage door installation etc.

Yes if you use just the default setup in google ads. Go in and make sure that you have search partners and all that turned off. Google ads setup seems easy but a lot of it is turning off the default options that waste money

It's impossible to determine what went wrong based on your post. It's very easy to blow through your budget in the blink of an eye if you don't know how to set up a campaign. Also you didn't say a word about your niche and geo. In some niches $400 brings you 10 clicks.

it absolutely can be the landing page, even if the ads and keywords look good.
A lot of campaigns fail because the traffic intent and page experience don’t match properly.

landing page could definitely be the issue, check if it loads fast, matches the ad message exactly, and has a clear call to action, $400 with zero sales usually means disconnect between ad and landing page or wrong keywords, not uncommon for first campaigns.
